Seminars
In September 2006, Syba launched a professional development program for teacher-librarians and other educational personnel.
Seminar content addresses the needs and concerns of school library personnel. Topics include the design and marketing of effective library learning environments, Web 2.0 technology, and Guided Inquiry. Seminar presenters are leading members of the school library and wider educational community, including Guided Inquiry guru Dr Ross Todd as well as educational blogger Will Richardson – plus a number of highly respected Australian practitioners.
